Sword In The Stone

Disney's 1963 film "The Sword In The Stone" was one of my favorite films growing up. When I began learning Unreal Engine in 2019, one of my first builds was a scene inspired by that film. Due to my lack of skills at the time, my render wasn't as I had hoped. Three years later, after a couple of iterations of Unreal, I was finally able to revisit this concept and recreate the original scene. This was a great opportunity to play with virtual textures as well as with the legacy and new Niagara system to create light particles in the scene. The foreground particles were composited from an HD recording on top of the original composite.
