Inspired by the recent asset drop over at WireWheelsClub, I fired up Unreal Engine for a quick lighting doodle featuring their 1994 McLaren F1.

My primary goal with this piece was to continue refining my Physically Based Lighting (PBL) workflow in a high-contrast scenario, while also diving deeper into experimentation with Substrate Materials.
---
The environment is composed of Quixel Megascans assets. Volumetrics and mood were dialed in using William Faucher’s EasyToolbag (specifically EasyFog and EasyAtmos). The vehicle shaders utilize a mix of both Substrate and standard automotive material packs sourced from Fab.
